While it will technically be a daycare, being a teacher my goal is to run it like more of a preschool. Throughout my time as a teacher I have taught in every style. The greatest experience by far was my time at a STEM Preschool as the lead teacher. I have incorporated STEM into my own curriculum. Through play-based science experiments, math, and plenty of outdoor time, you can count on your little one to thoroughly enjoy the open and loving environment I provide. We will also have daily time for free art and gardening. On days where there are three or less children there is a possibility of field trips to the Thinkery, Aquarium, or walks to Brentwood Park. Something I've noticed as a teacher (and parent) is while Preschool is a wonderful place for learning and socialization, the high student to teacher ratios leaves many children lacking the individual care they need to thrive. I will have no more than four kids at any given time, so you can be sure your little one will get the individual attention they deserve, while making friends and developing social skills in a more personal setting.
