Gathering Tree Preschool

Small in-home preschool has ONE spot available.
Ages 2 to 5.
Full days (up to 10 hours) or Half days (up to 5 hours).
Hours: M-F 7:30am - 5:30pm
Gathering Tree is a small, in-home preschool emphasizing nature and STEAM (science,technology, engineering, art, and math). I currently care for and teach three kiddos, ages 2, 3 and 5. We have a large, dedicated classroom with plenty of space to play and lots of books, puzzles, toys, games, activities, Montessori-style lessons on trays, art supplies, open-ended building materials and more. Our daily routine includes Circle Time (songs, calendar, map, daily topic/theme), arts and crafts (usually a letter-of-the-day themed craft) / sensory play, outside play, and Story Time before nap/quiet time. We play outside twice every day (weather allowing) in our large, fenced back yard. There are plenty of shady oak trees, a wooden playscape with drums and a swing set, and a garden. We often see wildlife- foxes, deer, rabbits, squirrels, lizards, birds- in the woods behind our house, and sometimes in our yard as well. <br/>We have one cat, Phoebe. She is indoor/outdoor and uses a dog door. She is current on all vaccinations. Proof of vaccination available.<br/>Healthy meals, snacks, and drinks are served, organic when possible, and are included with tuition. Menus sent home monthly.<br/>We live in a one-story home with a large fenced yard and a gate. Listed Family Home with Texas DFPS. My husband and I have passed a nation-wide background and have been fingerprinted. I am a married mother of one preschool-aged son. I have a bachelor's degree in Biology and over 15 years of experience working with young children as a preschool teacher and nanny.
