Highland Montessori

North Austin's best Montessori School, open on St Johns Ave (near Lamar) since October 2013. We are a 5-day a week Montessori school, with full-day (8-6) and mornings-only options. We are a pre-school that serves children ages 2 to 6. Guided by the Montessori philosophy, we are dedicated to fostering independence, social skills, emotional well-being, and the love of learning. HMS is a full-fledged Montessori environment that also offers Spanish lessons, gardening, Art, Music education and more.
--We believe in the connection between the children and their teachers and friends, therefore our classrooms are low ratio with 25 children and 3 full-time teachers (no assistants) in one multi-age class.
--HMS is guided by Khuloud Solomon, the school s founder and an accredited Montessori teacher with 14 years of experience.
--HMS is open from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm five days a week. We have a 10.5 month school year, closed in July so that our teachers can rejuvenate. We generally follow AISD s schedule for holidays, including Christmas/New Years and Spring Break.

--In an effort to simplify parents' lives, your tuition is fixed as long as your child is at HMS, tuition is inclusive of all extracurriculars, and you will never be asked to pay any add-on fees.
