Looking for part-time caregiver/companion for my 83 y. o. mother with early dementia who lives in Banning. , She is high functioning, does own personal care and light housework. She is creative and likes to do arts and crafts. Primary needs are transportation to appointments, shopping, errands, and short drives for pleasure. Additionally, help her problem solve technology (cell phone, TV remote, etc,) Light cooking and assistance with household needs may be required. Ideal candidates have experience with dementia clients, patience with repetitive questioning, easy going yet capable of setting firm boundaries, sense of humor, and extremely reliable. Schedule will be 3-4 hrs/day 3-4 x per week. Hours and days of the week are flexible. Must have own transportation, and good driving record. Mileage will be reimbursed.
