Havertown Mother's Helpers

DATE-NIGHT or RESPITE CARE preferred. Childcare experience -babysitting for babies and children starting at the age of 12, moms helper to 3 younger siblings, mother's helper for summer job. How far back do we go here? :) Currently, I am mom of a 20-year-old son with Asperger. For him to develop socially and as the sole parent and mom that he needed as well as work to provide for the two of us for the past 18 years... I spent A LOT of time with other people's children. For two reasons - babysitting was one of the jobs that fit my schedule and son's needs. Plus, having a son who could not make a friend on his own, motivated me to take any opportunity to find ways to have him engage with other children. I am one of those people that can wear many "hats", and have a experience that can be applied to a variety of jobs. A "young" 60 yr old with a heart for kids. I am kind, compassionate, trustworthy, good humored, respectful and enjoy helping bring more calm and order to busy family lives!

I am a junior in high school (virtual online) an ice hockey and lacrosse player. I have worked as a mothers helper and babysitter for the past 5 years. I am comfortable with keeping the kids active and not just on the screen. Can help with homework, errands, and pets. Hi! My name is Maggie and I am 26 years old. I have been working with children for 13 years. I started as a mother's helper in middle school and continued to babysit throughout high school. In college I nannied part-time and have been nannying full-time for the past 3 years. Some of my tasks include, prepping food, cleaning/tidying up, grocery shopping, bathing the children, laundry, scheduling doctors appointments, reading and playing with the children, etc. I absolutely adore the family I nanny for now, but the children are starting school in the fall. I have been in the childcare industry for 10 year, holding a range of positions from teaching, nannying, baby-sitting, Au pairing abroad and volunteering. For me this is more than just a job, but something I am passionate about and I strive to be better at with each new experience I gain.
