I can also tutor in science, math, social studies, Spanish, or just about anything else. I have experience working as an au pair in Germany with 3 school-aged kids. I have a Bachelors's degree in psychology with a concentration in childhood and adolescent development. My Master's degree is in public health with a concentration in maternal and child health.

Hi! I am a student at the Governor's School for Science and Technology, a dual enrollment program through Thomas Nelson Community College, and Poquoson High School. I am an all-A student at Poquoson High School and mainly A (one B) student at Governor's School. I've taken up to Calculus BC and Statistics in math, both Chemistry (includes Organic Chemistry) and Biology, and all major English courses up to AP English 12. I have tutored a student for the SAT and she rose her score by 90 points to a 1440. I have also helped a few students with math and chemistry and helped them understand confusing concepts. I also help my peers around school with different subjects whenever needed. In the past I have typically tutored for free, however I now need some income to help relieve some of the costs of senior year and college on my parents. I am willing to meet in the most convenient library or learning area to you and will create a friendly, efficient learning environment that meets your needs.

Most of my tutoring experience has been in math courses before, but I am able to tutor in any subject at the high school level or below! I am a student at the University of Virginia, and am knowledgeable and highly capable to tutor in many course subjects. I am a patient and understanding teacher, who is able to communicate complicated concepts well.

I have volunteered in NNPS since I was 14 helping kids read and work math. Also, I was been apart of a tutoring program in high school. We would travel to our local primary (K-2nd) and assist kids. Currently, I am in college where I am a genetics major. While I have never been paid to tutor, I have volunteered for many years.
