I am seeking to help anyone (adult or child) who is learning to read and would like to practice. I love to learn, and I have a BS in Nuclear Engineering and MS in Electrical Engineering. During my time in school, I tutored regularly and took notes for students with disabilities. I worked as an engineer for 6 years before leaving to build an art business. Around that time, my family found out that my nieces were unable to read, so I began reading with the youngest for 30 min each day. I've loved watching her reading and confidence drastically improve. I'm hoping to be able to provide a nonjudgmental atmosphere for others to build confidence in their own reading abilities. I am comfortable tutoring virtually or in a public place like a coffee shop or library. I am also able to help with algebra level Math or note-taking/study skills.
