About Lacey

I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding, and adaptable I like tutoring because I get to understand the students individual needs and the goals that they have for themselves. I love learning about the students interests and what they love outside of academics as well. It's important to understand the students as a whole person and not just want what they need academically. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and one where I can help a student grow over the summer and give them a great start to the next school year I started teaching in 2018 after graduating from college. I teach special education and have worked with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade in the elementary level as well as 9th- 12th grade at the high school level. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym and coach field hockey. One thing you should know about me is I love education and love forming a relationship with each student that I come across.
