Recent College Grad Looking To Care For Children
I just moved from Nashville to Boston after graduating from Miami University in Oxford, OH. I love kids and have lots of babysitting experience! I've mainly worked with children ages 4 to 10, but I have watched infants ages 6 months and up. I also have tons of experience with dogs and cats! I am willing to do some light housework or grocery/ errand runs. I also love to cook, so I would happily cook or meal prep. I live in the Fenway area and do have a car just in case that is needed. I am trying to not work many weekends if possible, but could be available some weekends if needed.

Full-time Caregiver
I am an experienced caregiver who has worked with children of various ages in multiple roles. I attended college at the University of Minnesota where I earned a degree in Youth Studies. While in college, I spent a year as a nanny for a family with 3 children (ages 3, 7, &10) before leaving to take a position at a local homeless shelter. In that role, I managed a volunteer-based tutoring program for shelter residents ages 6-12. A typical evening was working with 16-20 children and ensuring that tutors provided them with not only homework help and educational play, but also with the support of a trusted adult as they navigated a highly stressful time in their lives. Since leaving that role, I have continued to work in the field of homelessness services. I recently moved to Boston and am starting a part-time Master of Public Health Program where I plan to focus on the social determinants of health and how to improve health and quality of life for children and their families.
