Hello! My name is Hattie and I am a Sociology DePaul graduate. I am passionate about working with kids/teenagers which is why I am pursuing my Masters degree to become a Childrens Psychologist fall 2021. I was a swim instructor at the Ray Meyer for three years as well as the head aquatics facilitator at the Mather's High School Jewish Summer camp. I am CPR certified and was a practicing lifeguard at DePaul. During Covid I have been an in-home pod teacher for two second graders navigating virtual learning and homework assignments. I communicate frequently with all teachers of both students as well as submit proof of engagement, play games during breaks and keeping the kids moving! I enjoy drawing, animals and social causes and spend most of my free time cooking and staying active. I am organized, timely and goal oriented; I cherish the life lessons that children offer and have always been passionate about my work. Very comfortable with meal prep, house cleaning and errands/activities.

We met Hattie when she was our kids' swimming instructor and quickly realized why she was everyone's favorite! We had several instructors after that, because Hattie's sessions were always full, and no one came close to how caring and attentive she was with our kids. She began babysitting for our daughter (age 8) and son (age 6) and quickly became one of our first calls. She is responsible, fun and great at lovingly setting firm boundaries with the kids. She walked our kids to and from school and swim and also easily handled meal responsibilities when asked. Our kids still ask for their hard boiled eggs "Hattie-style":) We moved to NC last year and miss her dearly!

I am a fun loving and engaging babysitter that is ready to play! I absolutely love taking care of children, and have been since high school and throughout most of my adult life. I started out babysitting the neighborhood kids in high school and eventually began taking a Child Development course during my Junior and Senior year. During that time, we ran a small daycare in our school for 3 and 4-year-olds, and I was able to create my own lesson plans, work on developmental skills, sing songs and play games, and learn a wealth of information that I take into every job that I do! Since then, I have been a Nanny both in New York and Chicago, so I have experience taking care of kids in a city environment and traveling through public transit! I also have worked with various families and babysitting agencies, and have loved every second of it. I hope to hear from you soon!

Aubrey is an incredible human being! I couldn't have asked for a better sitter to take care of my cat while I was out of town for a few weeks. After meeting with her initially, I knew that I would have nothing to worry about. She was extremely respectful of my place and went above and beyond. There were even times when Aubrey stayed longer than she had to just to hang out with my cat and make sure that she wasn't lonely. I never had to remind her of anything and was very communicative the entire time. You can tell that she really does love animals and will give your pet the love that they deserve. Overall amazing job, again thank you so much!

Former Early Childhood Teacher With 5 Years Of Experience

Hello everyone! I'm Stefani, and I moved to Chicago back in March. I have five years of early childhood education experience from working in a daycare setting through college and after graduating college. I mainly have experience working with infants and toddlers up to age 3, but I'm comfortable working with children up to age 7. I enjoy helping kids learn and coming up with fun, educational activities to foster healthy development. My background in early childhood education gave me the opportunity to see how different children learn and to create lesson plans and activities that help them to engage with the world around them and to learn through experience, observation, and play. Thanks for taking the time to view my profile!

Stefani is amazing and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, trustworthy, caring, and fun nanny! She started caring for our 9 month old who was going through a sleep regression and learning to crawl (so was a bit fussy) and handled it with ease! Our son absolutely loved her and even cried when she went home at the end of the day and always greeted her with a huge smile when she arrived in the morning. It was evident that she cared about him just as much and that she always had his best interest at heart. She spent the day playing with him, singing with him, taking him for walks, and working on a nap schedule and developmental milestones that were important to us. I trust her completely and her experience with infants was evident. My husband and I both worked from home and she fit in perfectly with our family from day one! We often heard our son giggling with her. We highly recommend Stefanie for your children no matter what age. She will take great care of them!

I recently graduated from the University of Michigan looking to help families and children's development! I have 6 years of experience working with kids including babysitting children in my community, working as a camp counselor for 3 summers for kids ages 4-12, and regularly working with middle and high schoolers through volunteering programs at Michigan. I've also developed lesson plans to teach English and Reading abroad in Cuenca, Ecuador to inner-city children. I am a huge advocate for education and the arts, as I've been dancing my whole life and have worked with several educational organizations. I am open to babysitting, traveling, assisting in cooking, and any other additional chores. I am a patient, creative, and dependable person who prioritizes safety while fostering an open and nurturing environment for kids to have fun!

I have worked with Kathleen in multiple work environments, and can personally attest to her compassion and diligence in child-care. In 2018, Kathleen and I traveled to Ecuador to teach students at an elementary summer-camp where she was the lead teacher for the K-1st grade classroom, and was well loved by her students. Additionally, Kathleen has worked as a summer camp advisor for 3 years, and was awarded "The most loved" advisor for three year's running. Having worked with Kathleen in other fields of work, I can speak on her motivation to make the most of everyday, and her dedication to making sure the job is well done. I am confident that Kathleen will serve any position she is given to the fullest of its capacity.
