About Kara

(Open for newborn overnight care) Hello! My name is Kara and I would love to help you care for your child/children. I have over 20 years of experience working with children. My passion of caring for children started as a teenager. I have worked with children of all ages, in their homes, at daycare centers, in public schools, and my most rewarding time working in an emergency youth shelter. Some of my skills/talents are planning activities, making lesson plans, I do laundry, help with potty training, handle breast milk/formula, and I love cooking. I am into health and fitness, so being active with your little one in outdoor activities is fun for me! I am a Newborn Care Specialist, trained Birth doula, Postpartum doula, and Lactation Educator.
