Seeking care for myself in my 70s. Services needed: companionship, meal preparation, transportation, light housekeeping, errands / shopping. Specialized care needs: support for chronic illness, nursing experience. Female caregiver preferred. A little more about myself: I can be energetic, pleasant, outgoing, independent. I continue to try and b active both with church functions and my wood shop that is in my basement. I need help with the daily chores including housekeeping. I have terminal lung disease. Now my heart is expanding producing the probably of a heart attack. I am disabled and use a Service Dog (very friendly Golden Retriever ) for mobility. My disability is a significant loss of balance. I live in a 1, 800 square foot ranch style house in the country. I live on a 6. 5 acre horse ranch. My horses are all gone. My Service Dog Courage does like to play, needs brushed, and a bath every 3 weeks. I am a widower. My Service Dog Courage is my love. She goes to the hospital with me when I need emergency help. I am not allowed to go out my door without her. She is very gentle and loving. I'm looking for someone who is patient, chatty, fond of pets, outdoorsy. A lady that is a good cook. I have lots of my favorite recipes. Simple stick to ur bones meals. Simple house cleaning. Help with errands like grocery shopping. Sit and visit with me and Courage. Courage is my life so she must love dogs. Just help getting thru older life. I love my church and am involved in it. I am a strong Christian. Driving is becoming an issue. I do ok in daylight but not in heavy traffic. I don't go out and do much else. Very open to get out more. I am malnourished due to my being too weak to cook nice suppers. Again, she must love dogs. Courage is my number 1. During good weather possibly helping me with small tasks outside. She must b very personal, loving, and willing to help me live in my house.
