Live-in Home Care Needed For My Mother In Elgin

Full Time
Seeking live-in home care near Elgin for my mother in her 90s. Schedule Details: Looking for someone to take care of my mom in her home. She fell last Sunday and broke her right shoulder. 24 hours a day with 1 day off a week til May 20 and then possibly a few more weeks. She's 92 and broke her shoulder. She weighs about 140# and needs help in and out of bed, bathroom, wheel chair. Must be strong enough to assist her with gait belt. House is equipped with lots of grab bars and senior equipment (portable commode, 2 wheel chairs, electric recliner, no stairs, washer dryer, 2 bathrooms and more) We're in real need. I had shoulder surgery in October and am not supposed to be lifting and have already injured my arm. She has wifi internet and the caretaker can bring a laptop or other device to use her internet service. I have 3 brothers but one lives in AZ, one in NW suburbs and one still working. It's too much on me right now to be the primary care giver. Next week one is on vacation and will help for 2 days but it's harder for them because of the personal cleaning needs of a woman but I've been here for 7 days/nights now. One brother has given me a break during the day for 6 hours but usually it's the night time that is rougher than the day. Too risky to put her in a nursing home. Until her fall last Sunday she was able to get around with a walker. Her legs are not very sturdy but she was still doing it alone with me visiting 2-3 x a week. I'll do all shopping and take her to any appointments. I live nearby.
