Immerse yourself in waterfall hiking in one of the most unique geologic formations in Oregon! Over the course of the three hours we are in the canyon, we will discovering South Falls' stunning amphitheater and history as the centerpiece of a failed attempt to become Oregon's first National Park. From here we will descend into the up-and-down trails that make up the gorgeous canyon, encountering century-plus-old trees, wildflowers in season, mosses, lichens, and mushrooms and a variety of fantastic rock formations. We will experience up-close encounters with some of the state's most unusual and impressive waterfall formations. On this hiking experience we will explore 4-6 waterfalls and enjoy snacks with the option to purchase a light breakfast or lunch from the cafe. Our hike will be between three and eight miles (5 - 13 km) depending on group energy and desire.

Join us for a guided sledding adventure in our 3-row Subaru Ascent through Rocky Mountain National Park on a 5 - 6 hour private tour with only your party & your guide! On our tour, you'll see a frozen waterfall, we'll drive up the iconic Trail Ridge Road as far as it is opened for the season, go sledding for up to an hour at the Hidden Valley snowplay area, if conditions allow, walk around a frozen Bear Lake or Sprague Lake (both flat & less than a mile), and you'll also visit the Beaver Meadows Visitor Center at the end of your tour. This tour is NOT a hiking tour, and focuses more on driving in the National Park with small strolls throughout. During this tour, we will discuss the many interesting theories of how the wood came to be petrified, as well as the amazing exposed strata of the painted desert known as the Chinle Formation. We will also go over the rich native history in the area, as we walk amongst the ancient lands. There are a couple options for hiking the Badlands in the park. Before we visit the park, we take lunch in town and drive old Route 66 via Holbrook. We then take 4 hrs to explore the PFNP and travel North hitting most of the sites. We see 2000 year old Petroglyphs, 216 million year old Crystal trees, and the painted desert/rainbow hills.
