During drawing and painting, your child will learn the basics of drawing and painting. Our intermediate and advanced students will build upon previous skills and work on longer-term projects.

This year, in "Art In Nature", we will study 8 artists who are famous for their depictions of nature. Our fine art projects will include drawing in graphite and colored pencil; painting in acrylic and watercolor; sculpting in foam clay; blending with oil pastels; scratch board; as well as mixed and multi-media work. Advanced Art Open Studio Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM This open studio class is designed for advanced art students who are ready to take creative control. Over several sessions, students will choose their own mediums and develop independent projects with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Whether working in drawing, painting, mixed media, or sculpture, students are encouraged to explore personal themes, experiment with materials, and refine their artistic voice. This is a supportive space for focused, self-directed work and constructive feedback.

Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is recommended for ages 10-18 who have a basic knowledge of drawing. Come dive in to the world of anime at Art House! Learn step by step drawing skills used to create anime characters. This class takes a look at what makes a cartoon "anime," different methods, techniques, and all the formal elements you need to create your own anime art and characters. Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

CREATING CHARACTERS Join us for a morning of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will create a miniature sculpture inspired by their favorite sanrio character using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted all at camp! Their sculpture can be turned into a keychain or charm. Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Join us for our most popular camp from last summer! This magical week is all about the joy of music, movement, and make believe. Our youngest campers will find their rhythm through singing and dancing, while interactive games keep everyone moving and laughing. Our days are filled with imaginative storytelling where costumes, puppets, and props let every child become any character they can dream of. We also dive into crafting and art by painting and drawing. From the art, to dance, to karaoke, there are so many fun ways for your child to "take the stage" and shine! This camp is for incoming junior kindergarten, transitional kindergarten or kindergarten campers. We strive to provide a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment for our youngest campers. Our staff ratio is 8:1 with a maximum of 24 campers per week. All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. There are free choice activities in the morning/afternoon including games and crafts. ***REGISTER BY APRIL 24th to RECEIVE A FREE SUMMER AT SEA CREST T-SHIRT*** Please look out for an email (sent to the email you register with) a week or two prior to the start of camp with more details, including any special days happening that week. Our aftercare at camp runs from 3:00pm-4:00pm the charge is an additional $15 a day, if your child is not picked up by 3:05pm they will automatically be checked into aftercare and we will charge the card on file. Aftercare after a long camp day is definitely a time for decompression and may include board games and/or educational films. We also combine all campers at this time including our JK/TK and K camp. All camps will run contingent upon a certain number of campers signing up. If your camp is cancelled, you will be notified at least 30 days prior. We may also combine the 1st and 2nd grade camps with the 3rd-6th grade camps if there is low enrollment. Cancellation Policy: Registrations canceled at least 30 days prior to the start of camp will receive a full refund. Registrations canceled 15-29 days prior to camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the start of camp will not be refunded. Please wear sunscreen and bring a jacket daily because we never know what coastal weather will bring. Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle daily.

Hosted by Andrew, a food writer and educator whose work has appeared in Gastro Obscura and Eaten, the experience blends hands-on cooking with storytelling, archaeology, and cultural insight.
