🎤 Sky Divers: Intro to Debate (Grades 2–4) Who says 2nd–4th graders can’t learn debate? This fun and high-energy 6-week class introduces young students to the basics of debate in a way that feels playful, creative, and confidence-boosting. Students learn what debate is, how to listen to others, and how to share their ideas respectfully and clearly. Throughout the course, students practice building simple arguments, learning how to organize their thoughts using a kid-friendly structure, and explaining their ideas using strong reasons. They’ll also get experience delivering both written arguments and impromptu (on-the-spot) arguments, helping them think quickly and speak confidently. Through games, partner activities, silly prompts, and guided practice, students discover that speaking up can be fun—and that their ideas matter. Each child receives plenty of encouragement and individualized feedback to help them grow as thoughtful, confident communicators!

Winter Semester (January-Mid March) Students will exercise the imagination at the Art House. This class is designed to help our young artists learn and develop fine art skills that will also help them in writing and problem solving! Your child will be drawing, painting, and sculpting. Classes also expose them to art history. They are encouraged in their self expression while also learning to follow directions. Our projects are always new and engaging as they continue to grow in their abilities. We desire to build confidence and support their strengths. Puppet shows are back! Join us once a month on this Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals Sneaky Pete, Tom the Rat, Meowzers, plus some new special guests! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.

This class is for families with children getting ready for preschool, looking for socialization and a longer more structured class. During this class we will come together for morning circle, creative activity, free play and neighborhood exploration. The morning will end with a closing circle.

Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! Behavior Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual's Spanish Club has basic rules of behavior, including respecting others and materials. These rules are reviewed regularly with students. Disrespectful behavior, foul, hurtful language, violence or other disruptions will not be tolerated. Brilliant Bilingual reserves the right to remove students from the club without refunding payment in the event of repeated misbehavior. Tardy Policy ---- Spanish Club ends at 3:30pm. Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 3:30pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 3:45pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements. Make-up classes may or may not take place, depending on the nature of the closure and the school's assessment. All enrollment fees paid are non-refundable.

Each session is tailored to your child’s individual language goals and includes: - Play-based activities that make learning language fun - Evidence-based strategies to improve comprehension and expression - Support for social interaction, turn-taking, and functional communication This group builds foundational skills that support success at school, at home, and in everyday life.
