Welcome to Winter Storytelling at Highest Speak! No prerequisites – this is our introductory storytelling and writing class, perfect for beginners! Whether your child is brand new to storytelling or just wants to boost their confidence, this fun, high-energy class is the perfect place to start! Students will improve both their public speaking and creative writing skills as they learn how to craft and perform powerful stories in a supportive, laughter-filled environment. From developing story structure to delivering stories out loud, students will have a blast while building real-world communication skills. And what a perfect time of year to tell magical stories! Winter is full of wonder, imagination, and inspiration—making it the ideal season to bring creative ideas to life through words and performance. Students will work on both prepared stories and impromptu storytelling, building flexibility and confidence as they learn to think on their feet and express themselves clearly and creatively. Each class includes: Open Forum: positive group discussion to warm up and build connection Mini Lesson: focused instruction on a storytelling or performance concept Speaking Games: fast-paced, hilarious activities to boost confidence and creativity Story Assignment: writing or speaking activity that reinforces the day’s lesson Throughout the course, students will write, share, and present their original stories—building confidence in both written expression and spoken delivery. Individualized feedback helps each student grow at their own pace. ✨ All classes with more than 10 students are led by two instructors, ensuring personalized attention in smaller breakout groups. And yes—our instructors are not only experienced educators, but also stand-up comedians and performers—so your child can expect to laugh, engage, and leave class buzzing with excitement each week. 💬 Please Note: Light homework may be assigned each week. Students get the most out of the class when they practice their skills outside of our sessions.

Join us twice a month on Saturday mornings as we take kiddos on a story-time adventure with puppet pals small and large - Sneaky Pete, Mama Mavis, Chef Meowzers, Sadie Blue Boots, Grandfather Time, and an ever growing crew of puppet friends! We'll even get to introduce some of our original musicals (that debuted at Filoli this summer!) to the studio! There will also be theater and movement games, dancing, and singing. Caregiver is required to stay.

In this incredibly fun 45-minute per week series, our youngest speakers — our Highest Squeakers! — will get their first introduction to public speaking and communication in a way designed especially for little learners! Through movement, games, imagination, and lots of opportunities to speak, our Squeakers will: Play fun and silly speech games Learn a few simple, kid-friendly speaking tools Practice speaking loud and proud Work on eye contact, expression, and confident body language Get comfortable sharing ideas in front of a group Even give their own short and super-fun mini speeches! There’s no pressure and no complicated concepts — just lots of encouragement, participation, and fun. Viva La Música en Español! Canta y Baila Conmigo, is the very best research-based program that combines music education and language immersion. Intended for both the native Spanish speakers and eager Spanish learners, Canta y Baila is enriching and fun! Offering a playful, interactive atmosphere where language learning is integrated naturally and organically in the musical experience. Children are effortlessly absorbing and using the Spanish language, through the irresistible sounds and rhythms of Spanish speaking countries, while exploring melody, rhythm, movement, instrument and prop play each week. FALL 2026 SPANISH CLUB: MI FAMILIA This fall, students will explore the theme of Mi Familia through engaging Spanish experiences designed to help them share what matters most: their family, their relationships, and their world. Through songs, movement, games, conversations, and creative projects, students will build confidence using real-life Spanish to introduce themselves, talk about family members, and describe the special people in their lives. Along the way, they'll create a personalized family tree project and prepare for a special end-of-session showcase where they'll share their learning with family and friends. Benefits of Joining: -Personalized Family Tree Project -Spanish Songs, Movement & Games -Interactive Speaking & Conversation Practice -Exploring Ecuador Through the Eyes of Eduardo -End-of-Session Family Showcase (virtual or in-person) Refund Policy ---- Our budget is based upon a student’s enrollment for an entire semester. Each child registered occupies a place that would otherwise be taken by another child paying in full. Therefore, in the event of cancellation, we offer full refunds only prior to the second class. Following the second class, no refunds will be issued. Online service fee is non-refundable. Behavior Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual's Spanish Club has basic rules of behavior, including respecting others and materials. These rules are reviewed regularly with students. Disrespectful behavior, foul, hurtful language, violence or other disruptions will not be tolerated. Brilliant Bilingual reserves the right to remove students from the club without refunding payment in the event of repeated misbehavior. Tardy Policy ---- Spanish Club ends at 4:45pm. Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 4:45pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 5:00pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements. Make-up classes may or may not take place, depending on the nature of the closure and the school's assessment. All enrollment fees paid are non-refundable. Country Theme: Ecuador 🇪🇨 Students will journey to Ecuador as they get to know Eduardo, a Spanish-speaking friend who will share glimpses of his life, family, and culture throughout the session.

A playful twist on a traditional preschool/pre-k class. Children will develop the fundamental skills necessary for reading and writing as we explore letter recognition, phonics, sight words, spelling, and comprehension. They will build social skills during Gathering Time, while exploring the day’s fun and imaginative theme. Children will learn decision-making skills and build fine motor skills during our station play, and expand their creativity through art. We will help prepare them for a lifetime love of school, classrooms, and learning.
