By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

Step right up to the Coder Carnival where Ninjas harness the power of micro:bit microcontrollers and Makey Makey circuit boards to design interactive games that come to life with electronics, sensors, and sounds. Throughout the week, Ninjas will dive deep into coding and game design, building skills and confidence as they prepare for the grand finale. Where they are: Children are ready to embark on a classroom experience without their adults by their side. They are ready to develop early literacy skills; collaborate and negotiate with their peers; and learn ways to communicate, cooperate and play together. What to expect in class: A playful twist on a traditional preschool/pre-k class. Children will develop the fundamental skills necessary for reading and writing as we explore letter recognition, phonics, sight words, spelling, and comprehension. They will build social skills during Gathering Time, while exploring the day’s fun and imaginative theme, and during Show and Share. Children will learn decision-making skills and build fine motor skills during our station play, and expand their creativity through art. The learning will extend to the home with printable “Literacy Kits”, with letter and theme-based worksheets. We will help prepare them for a lifetime love of school, classrooms, and learning. FALL 2026 SPANISH CLUB: MI FAMILIA This fall, students will explore the theme of Mi Familia through engaging Spanish experiences designed to help them share what matters most: their family, their relationships, and their world. Through songs, movement, games, conversations, and creative projects, students will build confidence using real-life Spanish to introduce themselves, talk about family members, and describe the special people in their lives. Along the way, they'll create a personalized family tree project and prepare for a special end-of-session showcase where they'll share their learning with family and friends. Behavior Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual's Spanish Club has basic rules of behavior, including respecting others and materials. These rules are reviewed regularly with students. Disrespectful behavior, foul, hurtful language, violence or other disruptions will not be tolerated. Brilliant Bilingual reserves the right to remove students from the club without refunding payment in the event of repeated misbehavior. Tardy Policy ---- Spanish Club ends at 4:45pm. Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 4:45pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 5:00pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements. Make-up classes may or may not take place, depending on the nature of the closure and the school's assessment. All enrollment fees paid are non-refundable. During our days together at Hilltop Creative Summer Camp we will start our mornings off with free exploration, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative. Our ration is 1:6and we do not go over 12 campers. Cantabile Choir members focus on learning to sing as an ensemble as we prepare music, including songs in foreign languages, to be performed at TCHA’s Choir Concert at the end of the semester (Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm). Cantabile may also perform at the Mall of America during the Christmas season (date TBD). They will sing music from different genres, singing unison, 2-part, and 3-part music. Cantabile is appropriate for boys with unchanged voices.
