We'll even see what happens when we measure the same thing with different-sized units! Then, we'll become estimation superstars, making smart guesses about lengths in inches, feet, centimeters, and meters! We'll compare objects to see how much longer one is than the other and use our adding and subtracting skills to solve length word problems. But that's not all! Join us for our festive Friday Mic Mania Night, a fun and informal evening where students can perform: ✨ A favorite piece from their current or past public speaking class 📝 An original piece they’ve written — holiday-themed or not! 🎄 Students must attend one mandatory rehearsal on either Sunday, Dec. 7 (11 AM–1 PM), Tuesday, Dec. 9 (6–8 PM), or Wednesday, Dec. 10 (6–8 PM). Students will be coached and prepped for performance. All pieces must be 2 minutes or less — longer pieces will be trimmed during rehearsal. Saturday Camp is offered year-round. Our campers engage in arts and crafts, outdoor play, music, story time and field trips. A big part of our enrichment is immersion in our diverse community. Camp Prospect provides high quality childcare in a safe and nurturing environment for campers to meaningfully engage with their surroundings through play. Our enrichment is bolstered by the imagination of our campers who help us to conceive big ideas and big feelings that can create a big impact on our community.

Fall Semester Session 2 (October-December) Students will exercise the imagination at the Art House. This class is designed to help our young artists learn and develop fine art skills that will also help them in writing and problem solving! Your child will be drawing, painting, and sculpting. Classes also expose them to art history. They are encouraged in their self expression while also learning to follow directions. Our projects are always new and engaging as they continue to grow in their abilities. We desire to build confidence and support their strengths. Students will step into the role of young detectives, using Spanish to follow clues, describe people and places, and solve a mystery—all while gaining a glimpse into the vibrant culture and life of Mexico. Open to K–5 students of all proficiency levels, the Spanish Club makes learning come alive through fun games, interactive projects, and creative storytelling. As our detectives piece together the clues, they’ll naturally build vocabulary for colors, clothing, physical features, and more. At the end of the session, students will showcase what they’ve learned in a fun presentation revealing their final discovery! Benefits of Joining: --Learn Spanish through interactive, mystery-themed activities --Explore aspects of Mexican culture and traditions --Build confidence in speaking and comprehension --Make new friends and have fun solving a case together Give your child the chance to think like a detective, explore a new culture, and gain the bilingual advantage this Spring!
