High School Impromptu Speaking Grades 9–12 | 5-Session Series This high-energy 5-session course helps high school students think fast, speak clearly, and express themselves with confidence in any situation. Through engaging games, fast-paced speaking challenges, and real-world scenarios, students learn how to organize their thoughts on the spot and speak up without fear. Whether participating in class discussions, giving presentations, interviewing for opportunities, or communicating with peers and adults, these skills support students academically, socially, and emotionally. How Each 1-Hour Class Works • Confidence warm-ups to break the ice and lower anxiety • Skill of the day (organizing thoughts, starting strong, speaking clearly under pressure) • Small-group practice with lots of speaking and personalized feedback Every student speaks multiple times each class in a supportive, encouraging environment. All sessions are led by expert Highest Speak instructors. For classes with more than 10 students, two instructors ensure individualized attention and feedback. This upbeat, confidence-building class helps high school students find their voice, think on their feet, and speak with confidence—everywhere it matters.

This program is designed to provide enjoyable activities that help students ease into their day and prepare for school. At the end of Before Care, younger children will be escorted directly to their classrooms, while older children will walk to their classes independently. Please note, we do not provide breakfast. You are welcome to send a snack or breakfast with your child if needed. *All children must be registered prior to attending.* and must have submitted all required documents to the Director of Before Care. ***This course is ONLY for Grades K-3*** MusicStart® is a patented progressive music learning system that balances fun and development of skills. Using familiar songs, it teaches all the necessary basics to get started playing music. The MusicStart® Keyboard uses 4 instructive Attachments that vary the challenge from color matching to letter matching to note matching and reading standard musical notation. MusicStart® is a preparation for (or a supplement to) playing any instrument and teaches step-by-step problem-solving. All materials are provided. Both pastels (oil and soft) and color pencils will be explored in depth. Techniques are appropriate for all ages. Additional color mediums may be added. Nature is a huge focus of Hilltop Creative. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. Towards the end of the day we will gather indoors and will have an afternoon snack provided by Hilltop Creative.

Through exciting games, silly prompts, movement, and tons of speaking practice, students learn the exact tools they need to speak up without fear. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. A playful twist on a traditional preschool/pre-k class. Children will develop the fundamental skills necessary for reading and writing as we explore letter recognition, phonics, sight words, spelling, and comprehension. They will build social skills during Gathering Time, while exploring the day’s fun and imaginative theme.
