Embark on a 1-hour journey into Belle Meade with its Journey to Jubilee historic tour. Join us as we take an honest look at the lives and stories of the African Americans who were enslaved, and later employed, at Belle Meade with intentional respect and empathy. Our Journey to Jubilee tour is intended to honor the legacy and sacrifices of the individuals held in legal bondage on this property from 1807 until emancipation in 1865, as well as to explore the complexities of their new freedom in the post-Civil War years. Using a unique approach that includes reading aloud from primary sources, and engaging dialogue with the audience, this experience creates a forum for exploring the history of slavery in a new way. The Music Row Walking tour begins at a convenient location right on Music Row! A walking tour on the row is an easy walk and gives the expert guide the time and focus to provide great stories and the quirky nature of the center of Music City’s soul. Music Row is the area in Nashville with recording studios, record labels, songwriting companies, music royalty businesses, and all things music. This is a separate area from Lower Broadway. On this 1.5 hour stroll through Music Row guests will enjoy a blend of historical insights, entertaining stories, and perhaps a surprise guest story or two from the local music scene. Famous Recording Studios: Visit some of Music Row’s most famous recording studios, where giants of the music industry have recorded their chart-topping hits. You’ll get an insider’s look at the places where stars like Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and Taylor Swift made musical magic.

Hey y’all — I’ve lived in Nashville for over 20 years, writing songs, co-writing on Music Row, and performing country music from coast to coast. I love Music City — especially the history of Music Row. Come join me on a walking tour! You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at this iconic area from someone who’s been in the writing rooms, worked with musicians who knew the legends, and lived the musical heartbeat of this town. We’ll walk past the studios and landmarks where country and rock ’n’ roll history were made. Along the way, I’ll share some of my own experiences and maybe even play a tune or two. It’s laid-back, personal, and different every time. My goal is to keep it fun and meaningful with real stories from the road and the Row.
