A Day at Camp: Each day begins with a gathering of singing and readings from a classic book, followed by rotations through farm activities, morning snack, hands-on agriculture or forestry lessons, and creative handicrafts. After lunch, campers will enjoy free play and relaxation before diving back into an afternoon rotation of activities - sports, nature study & science notation journals, and additional farming activities. This week explores international favorites, including Mexican dishes, Belgian waffles, French sauces and desserts, chicken kabobs, naan bread, and more. ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or blend, we have a camp for all interests. Our camps are organized into 3 age groups, so all chefs team up with their peers. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook. All recipes will be sent home for later preparation. A child may also pack up any uneaten tastings to share at home. This is a hands-on cooking camp. Find Your Voice: A Confidence & Communication Workshop for High School Girls High school is a time when many girls become more aware of how they sound, how they’re perceived, and whether they should speak up at all. Whether it’s contributing in class, navigating social situations, or preparing for interviews, confidence in communication matters more than ever! This 2-hour workshop is designed specifically for teen girls to build that confidence in a way that feels comfortable, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. Participants will learn how to: Speak clearly and confidently Organize their thoughts quickly—even on the spot Manage nerves and self-doubt Express their ideas in a way others listen to Most importantly, this is not a lecture-style class. Students will spend the majority of the time actively speaking, practicing, and receiving supportive coaching and feedback in a small, welcoming group environment.
