Irvine, CA
French Camp - Week 5 - PM SUMMER CAMP MENU Let’s visit the start of culinary by making homemade crepes, beignets, chicken cordon blue, tarts, and freshly baked Baguettes! (Note: The menu is subject to change based on ingredient availability.) ABOUT SUMMER CAMP: Whether your child likes to bake, create, roast, sauté, fry, or blend, we have a camp for all interests. Our camps are organized into 3 age groups so all chefs team up with their peers. Group ages are as follows: Tiny Chefs ages 4-6, Lil’ Chefs ages, 7-9, and Teen Chefs 10+. All chefs will get to taste everything that they cook. All recipes will be sent home for later preparation. A child may also pack up any uneaten tastings to share at home. This is a hands-on cooking camp. FOR MORE INFORMATION: Visit our FAQ page at https://lilchefschool.com/kids-cooking-summer-camp-faq.html. Please view our full list of Summer Camps at https://lilchefschool.com/kids-cooking-summer-camp-schedule-registration.html. PLEASE NOTE: **We are a nut-free school that can accommodate ONLY and ALL nut allergies. We cannot accommodate any other allergies and/or food restrictions. Children with gluten or dairy sensitivity can participate but not taste. ** If a class/camp is not filled we will combine age groups as we see appropriate and assign a task(s) based on skill level. For our Tiny Chefs ages 4-6, we use time fillers because our little ones get tired of cooking for 3 hours, and/or it is difficult to keep their attention for this long period. So our Chefs will play games or let our Tiny Chefs color or other food-related games to finish our time. Unless you purchase a 30-minute Pre-Care pass, you may arrive NO MORE THAN 10 minutes early for check-in and you MUST stay with your child until the start of camp. Also, unless you purchase an After-Care pass, any guardian late picking up their child will be charged $50 for every 10-minute increment upon completion of the camp – unless we are notified of the tardiness ahead of time. FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE All Sales are final. Early-bird tickets sell fast and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. While there are no refunds, you can reschedule for another camp, if space permits. A $10 transfer fee will be charged per student per camp.

Discover the Invisible: Campers will explore the unseen force of magnetism through interactive experiments. They'll visualize magnetic fields, create magnetic art, and even build simple compasses. Experiment and Learn: Every day brings new activities, from understanding how magnets are used in technology to crafting their own magnetic toys and gadgets. Fun Challenges: Children will engage in team challenges and individual projects that encourage problem-solving and innovation, like building magnetic mazes and designing magnetic sculptures. Safe & Supervised Environment: Our experienced instructors will ensure a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment, making learning about magnets a truly magical experience. Endless Exploration: The "Magic of Magnets" Camp isn’t just about learning scientific concepts; it's about nurturing a sense of wonder and exploration. By the end of the camp, our young scientists will not only have deepened their understanding of magnetism but also developed a keen sense of inquiry about the world around them.
