What your child’s day will look like
Whether it's a teacher workday or student holiday, when school's out, your child (ages 5-14) can come to NoVA PlayLabs to have a different kind of fun. They will spend their time with us participating in a mix of active and quiet play, independent and collaborative activities, and intellectual and creative projects. Students can bring their homework or other assignments to complete during free choice time. Please pack a lunch, a water bottle, and two snacks.

My toddler and I always enjoy sensory art at nova playlabs. Each week there are two new art projects for kids and their caregivers to try. The projects are a great opportunity for the children to practice fine motor skills, socialize and practice cooperative learning, and engage their senses. The environment is laid back and developmentally appropriate- children are given the space and time to take breaks and engage in free play, which aligns with my toddler’s limited attention span. I’m always inspired to try the projects at home. Susan is a talented educator, and I highly recommend Nova Playlabs!
