My name is Gabriel, but you can call me Gabe, or G-Love, my stage name for short. In a nutshell, I am a current university graduate with various ensemble experiences in both classical and commercial style vocal techniques and view myself as an aspiring artist, vocalist, songwriter, and social sound engineer, not necessarily as an educator. However, I am a strong believer in the power of collaboration and learning, and thusly have decided to offer my time as a service of vocal warm up, image consultation, collaboration, and identification of personal needs and wants in terms of long term musical entrepreneurial goals. I also offer my knowledge in improvisation, and recording techniques and experiences. I do not claim to know everything, nor do I expect my students to not know anything, I only wish for through these experiences and lessons we all grow as musicians and artists. I also believe that anything can be learned and honed through open honest discussion and practice with safety in mind. These things will help any flourishing singer and artist learn the maximum utility of their instrument and some clarity in personal goals. Formal Education: Bachelor of Fine Arts in Commercial Music High School Diploma Performing Experience: Various performance experiences both in and out of the university system including chorus ensembles, jazz combo ensembles, jazz singing ensembles, recital solo singing ensembles, opera chorus ensembles, musical theatre roles and ensembles, production experience with other solo artists and acts, praise band experience, songwriting and production technique experience. Also experience in action theatre based performance activism through improvisation. Versed in Finale, Logic Pro, ProTools (somewhat), and piano faking and improvisation. Experience Teaching: Currently a substitute teacher with various experiences educating students from 4 to 18 years of age. Also experienced in working with and training adults both in professional and instructive settings.
