Summer Babysitter- Great With Kids!

Avg response < 18 hrs
Hi! I am a student at University studying to become a Spanish teacher. I live in Park Ridge, Illinois during the summer. I will not be able to sit during the school year, as I am away at college. I have a strong passion for being with kids and helping them learn; I am also CPR and first aid certified. I have my own car, and I'm pet friendly! I have babysat my cousins since they were newborns and continue to do so (the oldest is now 14 years old). From Care. com, I have gained more experience with children ages 1-10, and we have so much fun together. I have experience with children close in age, as well as far apart in age. Currently, I'm looking for babysitting opportunities while I am home in the Park Ridge area over the summer. I am no longer located in Shorewood. I also love offering "date night" help and other occasional help. Feel free to contact me with any of your babysitting needs! :)

Sarah is amazing. She is sweet, kind, caring and dependable. We have been working with our 3 year old son on writing his letters, and Sarah jumped right in. She and my son also wrote a book! She wrote out what he wanted on the pages , and he did the illustrations. It makes leaving for the day a lot easier when your child is asking "When is Ms. Sarah coming?" Unfortunately, we are relocating out of state, or we would definitely want Sarah to continue with our family.

My daughter has been attending Kiddie Palace Child Care for the past two and a half years. We were looking for an in-home daycare so our daughter could have a smaller, more intimate environment to learn and grow. It has been amazing to see how much she has grown in the time she's been there, both emotionally and intellectually. Seema is an amazing educator and caretaker who loves each and every one of her students (and they love her back!). Her facilities are clean and support an environment of learning. My daughter's days are filled with play (both structured and free), reading time, outdoor play, and learning (kindergarten prep as well as themed). Seema serves a combination of home cooked food (as well as other yummy treats - toddlers can be demanding, after all ;) ). Seema helps guide the children to be respectful and kind human beings, learning how to treat each other with love. But the most convincing point is how much my daughter loves Seema, playing with the friends she has made, and learning every single day. We'll be sad the day that she graduates to pre-school!
