We live in Lawrenceville, and are currently looking for some part time help to hire for our
2-year-old son and our new baby due in June.
Our 2-year-old is very active and requires strong engagement, so we prefer someone that has experience working in early childhood education (daycare, Montessori, prek type programs) and is self driven to create and engage our son in age appropriate development activities. We would also like someone that is attentive to his needs, doesn't spend much time on their phone or in front of the tv as we are trying to reduce/eliminate screen time. Our son has a dependency on using his tablet for meals which we are working to correct.
Besides developmental activities and playtime, our other needs are around feeding, laundry, helping keep play areas tidy and if needed, participating in extra curricular classes like soccer, swim, etc. good hygiene practices (frequent hand washing, care when preparing meals) is a must! Mom is in her final few weeks of pregnancy so may need some help with organizing and setting up for new baby.
Our son has attended school in the past but is home right now until he starts Montessori in June. Once he is in school, we will need help caring for our infant and may have schedule adjustments as we get into our new routine with 2 kids.
