Shugah Baybees is committed to entrusting a safe, healthy learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. We allow children, at their own pace, to explore the world via interest-driven learning. Located in the heart of West Harlem(directly across from the famous Abyssinian Baptist Church) the daycare facility measures 3,000 square feet of indoor and 4,000 square feet of outdoor space. Spacious classrooms are equipped with large windows and child-sized bathrooms. Each classroom has a door that conveniently leads to our securely gated outdoor space. The wonder of a jungle gym (with padded ground) awaits them there. A hands-on garden, as a teaching tool, introduces the science of horticulture and the essential role of composting. We nurture our children’s innate thirst for knowledge by exposing them to varied cultural and social learning experiences.
