The Pritchard Child Development Center is a full-time preschool program, operating twelve months of the year to meet the care and early education needs of young children of working parents.
We operate as a faith based child care and education center in the state of North Carolina, following the North Carolina General Statutes and the Child Day Care Standards, Department of Human Resources. Compliance is monitored by periodic visits from a state Child Day Care consultant, an Environmental Health Specialist, and a fire inspector with the Charlotte Fire Department.
We are located in Charlotte s historic South End, convenient to uptown workplaces as well as medical centers. Our center operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The center is closed in observance of New Year s Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday after, and three days at Christmas. We also schedule an annual Teacher Work Day in August before each new school year begins.
