I had lamerson and landy care both in my home and at their home on faxon wy in atwater. I trusted Lindsay lamerson fully until I discovered how she really worked.
First my stay in Atwater was frightening I was told by surly nurse Paula that she would put my pills where she felt even though they were wtong. Then on the night I was leaving I called jamilla to my room after midnight and told her I couldnt see out of my left eye and that the whole left side of my body felt like it was numb she told me to be quite and go to sleep. The next day I was transported for hernia surgery while I was having a stroke. To this day I still have blindness in my left eye. The room at the home did not have doors wide enough for a wheelchair there was a door to outside with a 3 foot drop. So if there was a fire I would have died.

In my home their caregivers called in regularly on weekends and stole $5000.00 in goods from my home. When I alerted Lindsay lamerson to this she came to my house and looked everywhere. Even in Places much to small for no reason. Then she tried to convince me not to file a report and brow beat me for 45 minutes because she was sure to leave before the sherriff showed up. And told told me I could get a home owners claim without one. Stanislaus county sheriff came and took the report and Lindsay assured me that her caregivers wouldn't want to be accused of anything, there were only three at my house. Shortly after this Lindsay wrote me a termination of service letter saying that I was harassing her caregivers. Giving me no time to get 24 hour care arranged. Lindsay had me contact her broker who I called several times sent multiple emails too and then just stopped contacting me. I ended up having to file a claim with my own I insurance as what was stolen wasn't mine. Caregiver Lisa sat me on my cat, how did she do this she lowered me onto her with a hoyer lift. I'm paralyzed and have no sensation in my lower body and didn't know she was under me till the cat started screaming. I felt so bad that my cat was hurt. Lisa didn't care and neither did Lindsay. Lisa liked to berate and belittle me when I was in bed and couldn't really do anything.
So yes her employees write pretty reviews for her but I've survived these caregivers that should be car wash attendants and your loved ones that are elderly can't remember what was done to them. So please don't trust them with the most fragile people in your life.

I have worked for Lamerson Landy Care now for 5 years. It is all around the best company I have ever worked for. Lindsey and her office staff are amazing. Her facility staff and homecare staff are all very smart, talented and well trained individuals. They go above and beyond for our residents and clients. If you know or have a loved one who needs homecare or is looking placement I would highly recommend this homecare company or placing them in one of the 6 bed facilities. You will not be disappointed. If you're looking for a homecare company you can grow with I promise this is a company you want to be with.

I had Lamerson Landy Care for the last 2 months of my dear mother's life. The owner sent caregivers whom she would have trusted with her own mother. They were all excellent and provided loving care. They offer 24 hour care and provide several services by trained CNA's, MA's, home health aides and therapeutic health technicians. If you or your loved ones are ever in need of service this company can help you. Their professional caregivers help you regain your independence and help you become as self-sufficient as possible. When my parents grow older, this is the company I will hire because I know they will take care of them as if they were their own parents.
