Kangaroos Korner Inc.

Kangaroos Korner is a nationally accredited, not for profit early learning center for children of all abilities founded by Catherine Wickline, an occupational therapist. Teachers hold bachelor degrees in early childhood education. This center uses the Early Learning Development Standards created by The Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. The learning progressions within the ELDS promote: equity for all children through the setting of high yet appropriate expectations, high quality learning experiences, and individual support for each child based on growth and development. The center is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
We offer two infant, two toddler and three preschool classrooms. There is a large playground with plenty of equipment for physical activity for both toddlers and preschoolers, the older children also have a garden. We are located off Litchfield turnpike on 16 acres allowing plenty of opportunities environmental learning.
