About
Aloha, my name is Kimberly.
I am a certified Montessori preschool teacher with a bachelors degree in early childhood development from Liberty University. I have over ten years of childcare experience with various age groups. I am fun, loving, energetic, and enjoy teaching children using the Montessori philosophy.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic I was a lead Montessori teacher at a private Montessori preschool. Due to the pandemic and the financial strain placed upon the school, I choose to withdraw and pursue my dream of opening up my own Montessori preschool.
This year I opened my own Montessori primary program. I teach using the Montessori philosophy and materials, with Christian influences. Enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year is full, however Joyful Montessori is looking to expand and tentatively operate at our new facility August 2021! Families who are looking to enroll with Joyful Montessori are encourage to submit their application now as enrollment will be quickly filled.
