A Journey School's program draws from several models of child development including the Reggio Emilia philosophy to create an inclusive, child-led, emergent program steeped in the belief that children are strong, capable, creative thinkers who can explore their ideas in myriad ways. Components incorporated into our program include:

*Opportunities for artistic expression in a variety of media, including yoga, dramatic play, and music.
*Documentation of children's activities and exploration through a portfolio system
*Meals using local, organic, humane meats and produce with a commitment to continually foster new and exciting relationships with local purveyors.
*School gardens give children hands-on experience with the planting, upkeep, and harvesting of our produce as well as tasting and preparing these foods.
Established in 2014, A Journey School strives to be a welcoming place for both children and their parents. Through the love and dedication of our teachers, children, and their families, we are building something wonderful and invite you to be a part it.
Special classes are offered in yoga, music, and dramatic play. Our campus is nestled in the woods allowing our children to experience the beauty of nature all day long, every single day.
All meals are prepared fresh by our classically trained school chef using organic, locally sourced ingredients. We offer gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan offerings. All food allergies can be accommodated. The school chef also offers family take home meals two nights per week to make dinner that much easier!
