Stella & Floyds
9402 224th ST SW,
I am an avid pet lover and have over 8+ years in the pet industry. I opened Stella & Floyds in April of 2010 and am fully licensed and bonded. I have a quarter of an acre of fully fenced yard with three children ages, 13 (boy), 17 (girl) and 20 (boy, sophomore at Washington State University). At Stella & Floyd's, your pet is welcomed into our home as a part of the family, with the luxury to roam at will. Instead of spending the day in a kennel, kept outside,or housed in a large, overcrowded daycare facility. Your furry one is free to lounge on the furniture, play with the kids, or even watch TV! We provide in-home boarding, daily dog visits to your home, cat visits, small animal care and boarding as well as overnights, daycare and many other services for your convenience. I will never walk with more than two or three SAME household dogs at one time. (A single person, regardless of size of the dogs or person, simply can not control numerous dogs. Pound for pound, an average 50 lb dog has a muscle mass and power equivalent to a well built 180-200lb male.) I simply do not like those odds as pet owner and would not feel comfortable with anyone attempting that with my pet. My rates are competitive and include a complimentary, in-home consultation so that you may interview myself, my family and my dogs if applicable.
I have had the great honor of being a contracted breeder to the Bergamasco Sheepdog to help introduce the rare breed to the US, as well as mentorship from the late Dr. Maria Andreoli, Geneticist from Italy. Our current dogs are Ante, an 8 yo Bergamasco, a 17month old rescued Bergamasco, Enzo and a 5 yo rescued Chihuahua named Lila.
I encourage you to meet my family, fuzzy and otherwise to see if we are a good fit for one another. I have also had the great honor to work with the Animal Behaviorist, 35year veteran, Corey McLennan.
Come check us out... you won't be sorry!
