Building Blocks is a Reggio-Inspired, emergent curriculum, the project approach, inquiry-based learning - all in one school! For the sake of simplicity, We use the term Reggio-Inspired. So what is a Reggio-Inspired school? Simply put, it is a school whose practices are inspired by the now rather famous preschools in the town of Reggio Emilia, Italy.
We are a nature based school. Our teachers love Inquire and Science. We back up to 5,000 acres of State land and go on regular Nature Walks. Our teachers are trained and have their education in ECE/Teaching. They are CPR and First Aid trained.
We have wonderful family events: Art show, Ice cream social, Harvest Fest, Egg hunt, and so much more.
