Caring, Creative, Funny, And Joyful

I have 2 years of experience in childcare centers as a Pre-K teacher and Pre-school teacher. In total I have 12 years of experience working with kids through my church and babysitting. In addition to my experience with children, I can help with Light Housekeeping and Laundry; as cleaning and laundry were one of my many tasks in childcare. Working with kids has always been a passion of mine, seeing them grow and learn in their own unique way. I would be delighted to help out a family who may be in need of care. :)

I had the joy of working with Ana in a childcare setting. Ana is amazing with children of all ages and needs. She is responsible and resourceful and very in tune to the needs of multiple children. Ana would be the first to turn on music for a dance party. I never saw any frustration because she loves what she does. Ana is able to multitask and helped me in ways anticipating what needed to be done. She is wonderful about communicating and sending updates and pictures. Every child would light up and smile when she arrived and she is the master of getting children to nap. She is trained in first aid and CPR and teaches in fun and creative ways. I would have Ana watch our boys (ages 8 and 10) if I needed help at home, or trust her to take them to Omsi the zoo or the park. I can't recommend her highly enough. You will love her as much as I do and so will your family!

Nanny And Babysitter

Responds within a few hours
I have been a nanny for the last 4 years, primarily for children age 5 and under, but also for school age children and teenagers. I have experience with twins as well as babies from newborn through the toddler age. I have always been able to work well with children, especially babies, and I find it a fun and challenging job. I think childcare is mostly about patience, firmness, and caring. I don't think that children should be constantly entertained, but that they should be led to use their brain and imagination. I don't use screen time, although it depends on a parent's wishes of course. I have a pretty flexible schedule, and I am looking for part-time hours in the afternoon or evening. I am also open to babysitting in the evenings or on weekends. I speak Spanish, do light housekeeping and cooking, and I have my own transportation and car seats.

I highly recommend Bethany! Bethany has been our full time nanny for the past 2 years for our baby/toddler and tweens. She is extremely reliable and on time and always has a positive attitude! She is great with kids, following their interests and teaching them along the way. She really takes the time to connect with each child and help them grow through everyday life. She has skills in art, music, and can speak Spanish fluently. Although we don't need a nanny full time anymore, I will hire her again for occasional hourly jobs!
