(PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE MESSAGING! I am unable to nanny or tutor currently as I am a full time teacher and will be teaching virtually from my school building. I am only available for weekend nanny/babysitting jobs. Thanks!) I am a fifth year 1st grade teacher in KCK. I am looking for evening or weekend jobs. I have worked in childcare since I was 16, working for daycare's and nannying through college summers. I have worked with infants from 6 weeks to children age 13 in my time in childcare. I nannied previously for two families found on Care. com. Have babysat through this platform as well. I am able to cook meals, plan activities, and much more. I love working with infants and toddlers, but also love having fun and doing activities with older children, as well. I graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2016 with my Bachelors in Elementary Education, and received my Masters in Reading Education from Grand Canyon University in November of 2018.

Brianna is very loving and a great listener! My 5 year old son and my 18 month old daughter both do well with her for our date nights or brief sitting jobs for me to work and run errands. She is comfortable with my son when he has been difficult in the past, which you definitely see why from her calm demeanor and teaching skills. A bonus is Brianna will respond to you quickly if you have an ad hoc request, in which she was able to help at times!

I have been in the professional field of care giving for the past 7 years and am in love with this work! I received my Bachelors of Social Work degree from WSU in 2019 but began working at Rainbows United in Wichita, KS in 2014 where I was exposed to caring for children/teens with a range of disabilities in-center as well as within their homes doing respite. A few areas of experience include g-tube feeding, medication administration, transportation, and bathing/dressing/diapering clients, and overnight respite. as well as CPR certified. I recently made a career change out of the social work field and am now working as a Registered Behavioral Technician for pre-school aged children who have been diagnosed with Autism! This is my true passion and I absolutely love caring for children (with or without disabilities) and would love to talk with you more in-depth about your family's specific needs!

Jessica was so amazing with my girl, A, at her special needs after school and summer program that I HAD to steal some of her time for just us at our home. Jessica worked for me for years in home. Working when we needed extra help for work, other kids needs or even out of town trips. The good workers always stay with us till they move away or have their own families. I was sad to see Jessica move from Wichita, KS but I am so glad to know Jessica is still working with families.

My experience in Child Care is very personal. I am a Mom/Step-mom to 6 grown children, ages 42 to 35. I am "Nana" to 2 handsome grandsons, ages 16 and 14 and a beautiful 5 yr old granddaughter. Since 2012, I have been a FT Nanny in Dallas, TX for 2 different families. The later one was for 7yrs starting when he was only 6wks old and then in 2016 with his new little brother also. I part-time cared for several families for date nights and overnights. I have carpooled to swimming lessons and after-school sports, enjoyed taking them to museums, movies and even weekly My Gym classes. Before I started having my own children in 1979, I had a daycare in my home for 2yrs. I like to read a lot! I am 62 yrs old and I like to think of myself as not just a Nanny or Babysitter for the children I care for; but as a fill In "Nana/Grandma". I recently moved back to KS and sadly had to say goodbye to my TX families. Visits are planned and we are still in touch often.

Sandra was our full-time nanny for seven years beginning with the birth of our now seven year-old and then the birth of our now four year-old. During this time she was not only extremely helpful to us, but loved and cared for our boys like no other. Sandra is great as a nanny and provides the right balance of play time and learning, which has helped our boys excel in school. Sandra is very trustworthy and dependable and became a part of our family. We were sad to see her move back home, but happy that she is now with her extended family. She will always have a special place in our hearts and would highly recommend her to anyone that wants a caring, loving, dependable and knowledgeable care giver to be a part of their family.
