Hi, parents! I am nearing the end of my tenure with both of my two long term part time positions, one of which I've been at for over a little over 3 years, where i'll conclude my care of 3 children. Ideally, i'm looking for a full time position with at least 35 guaranteed hrs, & the standard industry benefits, such as paid sick leave & vacation, paid holidays, & mileage reimbursement. My duties as a childcare provider have entailed & are not limited to: - Transporting children to/from school and other activities - Performing household duties related to childcare, ensuring any messes that occur on my watch are tidied - Preparing/acquiring meals - Assisting children in homework - Promoting good behaviors with a focus on positive reinforcement and positive discipline - Emphasizing play and educational fun in daily activities - Offering daily reports outlining each day Other notable things about me: I'm a psych major, have taken child development, & am CPR & first aid certified.
