Creative And Professional Nanny

Avg response < 19 hrs
Hi! I am a professional nanny and elementary teacher of 12 years. I am a very organized person and in the past have always provided my families with lesson plans that offer fun, educational activities and crafts, along with plenty of free time to play and explore their worlds. I have worked with newborns to preteen. I am knowledgeable in sleep training, colicky babies, and potty training. I have two degrees ( Culinary and Early Childhood Education). I am Montessori certified, CPR and first aid certified, and have glowing references. Helping raise and teach children is a big passion of mine and I am looking for a family that would like a full time nanny. I also offer light house cleaning, laundry, errand running, grocery shopping, meal prep/cooking, tutoring, drop offs/pick up, pet care. I am a very active person and enjoy the outdoors, horseback riding, and doing photography. I am a non-smoker, drive a Ford 2018 extended cab.

Megan has my strongest 5-star recommendation. She is more than a nanny; she's a governess. Her twelve years of educator experience are evident in the quality of her lesson plans and classroom design, and in her ability to manage our high-spirited twin girls and their occasional behavior issues. Megan reads and researches during nap times and off-hours, has an impressive knowledge base, and provides well-researched solutions and effective suggestions. She covers the room in educational hand-made artwork and guides the children to create their own. She designs multiple daily activities that engage the senses and the imagination. She has a no-nonsense policy for any amount of bad behavior, and balances that with enthusiastic and loving encouragement. Megan fosters a firm but joyful environment of self-discovery and development. She quickly became part of the family, and to our cats and dogs, as well. We will miss her immensely, as we prepare for our move out of state.
