Senior Care And Nanny Care
Caring for elderly, bathing, cooking, dressing, wheelchair, feeding, administer medications.
I took the CNA course in 2009. I was completely disillusioned by the amount of care provided from the nursing homes were we did our clinical care. In our studies, it should have allowed a minimum of 1-1/2 hrs. per patient just for personal care alone. That would be hurrying with that time frame, giving a patient couldn't help at all. I was stunned when we were assigned 20 patients in 8 hours.
I've been working for the Mayor, caring for his 95-Year-old mother for the past two years. I work part time there and her condition is rapidly deteriorating as she is now on hospice care.
Before working for the Mayor's mother I worked for a Bostonian, whom has since past away at 100. Both of these families are life long, well known families. Started Elderly Care, just after the CNA course in 2009.
