Help needed for my mother in her late 70s - seeking daily full-time respite care. The ideal match will meet the requirements below. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Sessions take place in the home or in the community depending on his need. Responsibilities include: picking him up from school bus, playing and activities that match his goals, and meal prep. Supporting my son by navigating the program and identifying incentives in learning new skills and behaviors. Adhere to goals and work with him to obtain those goals. Make recommendations for new goals as relationship develops. Position is after-school hours, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday from 2:30-6:30 pm). Training will be provided and is required. Positions starts January 2nd, 2019. Experience working with children with special needs preferred. Position is located in Park Slope.

Seeking a reliable pick up babysitter for my 4. 5-year-old son. We reside in Bay Ridge and I will need someone by my home at 2:00 p.m. There is a discrepancy in the time of the other nanny arrival, with my son's drop off which is around 2:20 p.m. I would need for Mon through Friday 2-3:15/30 p.m. and I would pay for the full week $85. This is an easy job especially if you live in neighborhood, as it's a quick dollar to make. Please understand, my son is allotted respite care; which is on the books for the other nanny, and as a single parent paying all on her own, I can only afford to do this option.
