I recently graduated with a degree in middle childhood/early adolescent education with minors in language arts and English as a second language. Throughout my time at St. Norbert College, I have had many experiences of working one-on-one with students or small groups in reading and math. One of these experiences was with a 1st grade student who needed extra assistance with reading. I planned and implemented fun and engaging reading, sight word, and comprehension activities. I also tutored a 7-year-old child three times a week in the summer of 2019 in reading and writing.

Erin is absolutely amazing! I have known Erin for 3 years in the capacity of her supervisor at an elementary school in Green Bay, WI. Erin was responsible for a group of about 15 2nd- 5th graders. She led lessons and activities to provide academic enrichment to these students, with a constant focus on social-emotional learning - a great need we have in our school. This group was not an easy group to work with, as there are many behavior and intellectual needs with such a young group of students. Erin handled this challenging task with dutiful hard work and dedication. I always knew that I could trust her to manage the classroom in a way that promotes positive interactions among students and staff. Any family would be lucky to have her working with their children. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions regarding Erin's qualifications.
