I have tutored kids from middle school, high school and college math subjects including, algebra, geometry, calculus, and trigonometry. I graduated high school with Honors and took all AP courses as well. I have an associates degree from FAU in Mathematics.

I am currently in my third year at the University of Central Florida pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering. I love mathematics and at this point in my life it is like second nature to me. My strengths are definitely in Trigonometry and Algebra. I am used to working in study groups for my classes, and when I have a good grasp on the material but someone else dos not, I explain it to them in various ways until they understand it. When I was in 8th grade I used to tutor my fellow peers in Pre-Algebra.

Hello everyone, My name is Jordan and I am a 3rd year Mechanical engineering student at FAU. I am very proficient in many subject areas of math including (high school) algebra 1, algebra 2, pre-calculus, calculus 1, geometry, and trigonometry. In all of these courses throughout my schooling I have received an A grade. I enjoy tutoring these subjects because I find it rewarding to help our community's youth understand a very important subject. I have experience tutoring kids of all ages dating back to about 10th grade in high-school; I have continued to tutor children into my college years. I am also very proficient in high school sciences and social studies. In addition to these academic endeavors I was also a recruited Division 2 basketball player and I am very well versed in regiments to improve a child's skill in this sport. I have experience coaching a youth team and I am also very into weight lifting if you wish to improve your child's athleticism.

My experience in the educational field is pervasive. I like to teach what I know to other people. Back in high school other friends and I organized a study session of physics and math to help improve our other friend's grades. I also help my younger brother and sister with their homework respectively. I am more of a number guy than a word one. I can help with math (algebra I and II, pre-calc, calc, trigonometry, etc.), physics (primary, regular, and some degree of advanced). I am very patient, and I work myself to fit the needs of every single student because no one learns in the same way as other people; I try my best. I can explain in English and Spanish.

In August 2017 I started working as a private tutor. In the past months I have worked with over 10 students (with ages ranging from 10 to 23) helping them with Math, Spanish and French courses at different levels. I am very patient, yet I still strive to push students to achieve their set goals. I have received very positive feedback from them and I am in a constant state of change, always trying to improve my teaching methods. Some of the courses with which I have dealt include Algebra, Trigonometry, Pre calculus and Calculus II and III; as well as AP Spanish and French courses.

I am in college studying engineering. I am very good at math and could tutor college or high school algebra, trigonometry, pr-calculus, statistics and high school physics regular and honors. I know how to make lessons easy to understand and know how to really cement difficult concepts into the mind.

Growing up, I've always been in accelerated classes. gifted classes in elementary school, in middle school I was given high school core classes, and in high school I've taken college classes and AP courses. I am very, very patient and I must give myself the credit of being quite intelligent. I like to gain knowledge through reading, observing, searching, listening, and experiencing. Hello! My name is Josh. I just graduated from UCF with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering. I've taken and succeeded with an A or B in college-level math classes like College Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, Calculus 1, 2, & 3, Differential Equations, and Discrete Structures 1. I've also taken several other science classes including Chemistry, Zoology, Physics 1 & 2, Statics, and Dynamics. I've also taken several electrical engineering classes on the design and analysis of circuits, such as Computer Architecture and Electronics 1, as well as programming classes such as Object-Oriented Programming and Computer Science 1 & 2. C and JAVA are the languages with which I'm most experienced, although I have also worked with C++, C#, Python, HTML/CSS, and Matlab, as well as assembly languages for the MIPS, MSP430, and PIC32 architectures. I have 1 year of experience tutoring college students in Math and Physics.

I have tutored high school students in mathematics (algebra I & II, geometry, trigonometry, precalculus), biology, chemistry, and physics for an outreach program at Florida State University. I have worked as a Biology TA for FSU and tutored college students in Chemistry I and Microbiology. I am also fluent in Spanish, since I lived in Venezuela for 10 years. When I tutor, I must first know your current understanding of the subject. This would only take a couple of minutes as we talk about your area of difficulty and work through some problems. Then comes the hard part - doing more problems! I think the best way for you to learn is to do things yourself, to attempt problems on your own. My purpose is to untangle you when you get stuck (as long as it takes), and to suggest study strategies if you request them. I can also help you devise acronyms and other memory aids, whether you need them to memorize common functional groups in biology or periodic trends in chemistry.
