Curriculum at Einstein Daycare includes the child-initiated and teacher-directed activities and experiences offered to young children that support and enrich their development physically, emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Einstein Daycare uses the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos and the Creative Curriculum for Preschool as guides for planning the curriculum in each of its program rooms. Each classroom has weekly lesson plans, posted in the classroom. These plans contain a number of activities, designed to foster each child’s development, and the development of the group as a whole. Lesson plans are changed in order to accommodate the children’s changing interests. Each classroom is set-up in centers, which include blocks, dramatic play, books, gross motor, fine motor, and art. Outdoor play is important to a child’s physical development and is included in both the morning and afternoon schedule. Self-selection or “free-play” is a daily part of the curriculum and means a child has the opportunity to choose which center or activity he/she participates in. This promotes creative expression and development of social skills.

We are an enthusiastic team dedicated to guide them with fun activities as they learn about the world around them. Our location has been renovated into a child safe, hazard free zone with 24-hour surveillance, where I follow all of NYS Child day care provisions. A schedule of balanced playtime, indoor/outdoor learning activities (weather permitting) and mealtimes. We have a history of Volunteering on weekends with Autistic children, where we would do Art and Music Therapy with them while their parents had a Saturday morning and afternoon off. We are open Monday thru Friday and from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with flexible early drop off and late pick ups when necessary. The rate-list is broken down by the amount of days a week and amount of daily hours needed by the parent. (Average tuition rates vary beginning as low as $1000/mo up to $1400/mo depending on schedule needed.) Our daily goal is to engage your child in productive activity as well as meet all of your needs in the process.

Montessori
Preschool
At LTM we believe in the “whole child” approach. The primary goal of our Montessori program is to help each child reach their full potential in all areas of life. Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, and physical coordination as well as cognitive preparation. The holistic curriculum, under the direction of specially prepared teachers, allows the child to experience the joy of learning, time to enjoy the process and insure the development of self-esteem, and provides the experiences from which children create their knowledge. Music, art, storytelling, movement and drama are an integral part of our curriculum as well as other things particular to the Montessori environment that encourage creative development: many materials that stimulate interest and involvement; an emphasis on the sensory aspect of experience; and the opportunity for both verbal and nonverbal modes of learning. The staff at LTM respects each child’s learning style and academic, emotional and physical needs. Each child has the opportunity to work at an individual pace, to explore personal interests, while at the same time, develop skills in how to collaborate, learn from, and teach others. By observing the children in the prepared environment, we can see that we are successful when we see a confident student, ready to explore, creatively problem solve and express concern and empathy for others.

Michael P. says "My daughter attended here for 3 and a half years. i think that Serah and her staff of teachers took wonderful care of my daughter. They gave her a great...

At Lefferts Garden Promise, exceptional childcare is our promise. To us, that means not only providing a safe, clean, and nurturing environment but also equipping children in our care with the skills they need to thrive in a global society. We employ elements of inquiry-based learning, and we truly value learning through play. It is important to us that we encompass a wide array of themes, subjects and elements crucial for child development. Our school takes inspiration from the Montessori and Reggio Emilia learning models. With that said, we really place emphasis on hands-on learning, developing real-life skills and really working with the child’s natural curiosity. We also provide a dual language program. Students are exposed to both Spanish and English, as we recognize the developmental benefits that come from teaching children more than one language at a young age. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm with the option of extended care until 6:00pm. We offer daily rates, weekly rates and provide a 10% discount for families that opt for our monthly rate. We also accept subsidies, including HRA & ACS vouchers. At our school, one of core values is to provide a community hub where families can gather to learn and celebrate together. Our program’s success is magnified when there is open communication and collaboration amongst our team, parents and the community at large. While we have an open door policy, we actively work to do our part in keeping those lines of communication open. We host parent nights, where families meet with teachers and administrators to discuss school procedures, events, outreach and policies. We have family day once a month where families are invited to participate in activities during the school day with children. Our school's environment was specifically designed to encourage social, emotional, physical and academic growth. We achieve these things by utilizing various tools for fine motor skill development, providing distinct areas for play and social exploration and much much more. We understand that children learn best when their needs are met and they are in an environment that allows for and encourages learning. Our school’s environment, our dedicated staff and our all-encompassing curriculum is a direct reflection of that. If interested, please do not hesitate to reach out and schedule a tour. We would love to have you!

Caring With Joy Daycare's primary focus is to provide childcare to children in a healthy, loving, happy, and safe environment. We believe that children at these ages are in the most critical learning stage of the human life cycle. What they learn at this age can have an impact on their successful lives later on at an emotional, social and academic level. We believe that children should enjoy and explore their creativity while it is at it's peak! Caring With Joy's fun and interactive curriculum will challenge children to use their logic and creativity to solve problems and learn while having fun and embracing their own progress, skills, and their unique personalities. Hello Parents of all Ages, The Early childhood period is very important because these are the valuable stages in which children brain is developing. During the age Birth to Age five, children are learning important, exciting, creative and imaginary things for each stage in their lives. It is my belief that children learn best through communication, bonding, nurturing, being in a safe and healthy environment, exploring the outdoors and most importantly through love. I believe that the most educational aspect in an infant to school-age life is their Physical, Social, and Mental Learning Environment. A healthy environment allows children to explore, take the initiative to seeing how things work, problem solve and communicate with peers while learning and building on their vocabulary. Deciding to work in the field of Early childhood became a goal. The goal of wanting to help each child develop while strengthening their weakness and challenging their strengths. It Is important to give children the tools to grow, be curious and take the initiative to learn how to think outside of the box. I have taken on the responsibility of creating a daily routine and lesson in which children are dedicated to and value their own interest and skills while I myself document the children progress in the early stages of education. Education doesn't start in a school; education start at home. The first stages of learning is bonding which allows children to form that connection with the teachers, educators and parents. Coming from a field of social work; my job was listening to the parents not the building and gaining the trust of the children. I felt if you had the trust of the parent, the child would adjust and connect with you. After being in the field for nearly twenty years, I was introduced to the Early Learning Guidelines handbook. This book showed me the stages of growth, what development stages a child should be at according to their age and how educators like myself can support the children. I've come to realize that a trusting relationship with adults is about listen carefully to what the child has to say. Expand on the conversation by asking question to things that interest them. Observe children in group and independently allowed me focus on what are their area of strengthen and areas of weakness were. Early Childhood wasn't my first career of chose; looking back over the years on how I've became knowledgeable, took trainings and educational course. I'm a leader!

Kristal P. says "Quintasha provide phenomenal care and education to the children. There is a set curriculum and constant growth. My daughter continues to excel in her...
