My name is Leah (Lyubov) and I have been working as a Licensed Home Daycare Provider in Forest Hills area since 2014. I have 30 years of childcare experience, which includes the raising of my own children and also caring for other children throughout my life. I speak English and Russian in my daycare. At my daycare, I provide full-time and part-time childcare for infants and children, ages 6 weeks old and up to 12 years olds. I am located in Forest Hills, NY 11375. My daycare is a home where you can bring your child and feel complete trust that your child is in a safe and loving environment. You can return to work with peace of mind, knowing that your child is in good hands and that he/she is being loved and nurtured and treated as my own family. At my daycare, I provide lots of love, attention and lots of fun! I have lots of space with brand new clean and safe toys, along with educational items that your child will love to play with. I sterilized and clean toys and all surfaces that the children touch daily to keep out the germs. I want your child to have a great time here and learn at the same time. I implement educational activities into our playtime so the kids are always exploring and learning new things. I do preschool activities with the older children to get ready for kindergarten. We practice our alphabet, counting, writing, we read books, sing, dance, draw, paint and have fun with arts and crafts. My #1 goal is for your child to feel completely safe, secure, loved, happy and mentally stimulated with fun things to do while having a great time at my daycare! I also want you to have total peace of mind that your child is happy and 100% safe while you are at work. I provide nutritionally balanced breakfasts, snacks, lunches and drinks for the children. All meals and drinks are included in your weekly fee. If you are looking for a super reliable, honest, loving, trustworthy and safe home daycare ~ then you have found the one!
Call me or email me if you are interested or if you would like more information. :)

Our son has been going to Leah's daycare since the age of 7 months and he is now 2. She takes care of him like if he was her son and he loves her so much. He always comes back from daycare with some art craft projects and is happy. They recently went on a day trip field to the zoo and I'm amazed by the way she is organized and caring. I never worry about my son and she always sends us great pictures of their day. Thank you Leah for your support and for loving our son so much!

Both my 3 year old and 4 year old have attended Bright Beginnings when they were just months old. It's convenient for us because they have extended hours- 6:30 am to 6pm. Healthy Breakfast, lunch and snack is provided in the tuition. Just bring the kids with their arms swinging. The kids love their teachers, love their friends and are excited to learn new lessons every day. Its a great combination of playtime, educational learning and social learning. Summer time there is water play in the playground and field trips to the local YMCA for swimming. It's an open door policy. Everyone is friendly and is familiar with all the kids regardless of classroom. I love how the teachers pay attention to the kids and can tell you fun tidbits about the smart or funny things your child did that day.

The day we took our two girls out of CDM - because we moved to another state - we cried profusely. Little Camille was brought to CDM when she was only 4 months old and stayed until she was two and a half. She learned to walk, to talk, to count, to read, to make art, to sing, to dance at CDM. Shauna Howard was truly the third parent to Camille, and she did a better job than either my wife or I (the other CDM teachers were also tremendous)! Camille is, quite frankly, ahead of the curve with regard to many of her peers in terms of her overall capability because of her time at CDM. There are other day cares that are, at first glance, a bit more "slick". This might lead you, incorrectly, to think that CDM is not as good as other day cares. That is a grave error. The warmth and love that Shauna and the other providers give all the kids is one thing. It's splendid. But the teaching they do is truly next level. All the CDM kids learned to talk and read at a higher level than their peers on the playground (no disrespect meant to their peers!), all while having a tremendous amount of fun. Little Maggie also started attending at 4 months of age. We never had any worries about Camille and Maggie for one second as long as they were at CDM. We knew they would be not only safe and sound, but they'd be learning, growing, and having a great time doing it. I was proud to successfully recommend CDM to several other parents, whose children are now attending. I am happy we bought our new house, but hands down, my biggest regret about leaving Astoria after 21 years of residing there was taking Camille and Maggie away from CDM. We'll be lucky if we get day care that's close to half as good anywhere else. CDM are family for life! Don't be crazy - do yourself a favor and drop in on CDM (seriously, ring the doorbell). Tap tap table!
