We are looking for a part-time in-home caregiver for our 28-year-old Army son who has a traumatic brain injury (TBI). A caregiver who has experience working with Traumatic Brain Injuries or has experience working with individuals who have behavioral issues is what we are looking for. Our son is in a wheelchair, is unable to speak, and is unable to do self cares. As a caregiver, you would be responsible for showering, dressing, assisting with eating, oral cares, possible meal prep once in a while, toileting, laundry, some light housekeeping and simply spending time with him. Some transferring of our son will be required and therefore experience in using a Sara Lift is needed. Hours we need covered are as follows: Mondays: 9 a.m. - 8 pm; Wednesdays: 5 p.m. - 8 pm; Every other weekend: Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 pm; Sunday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
