I have been taking care of children since I was 14. I started as the regular babysitter to a family of 3 (2 girls and a boy) when they were 7, 6, and 5, respectively, and continued until recently (the oldest girl is 18 and a beginning nanny herself). I also have been the extended stay caregiver for a young lady, starting whenshe was 12 (she's now 19 and out of high school), when her mother would go out of town for business for several days. A couple years ago I was the full time nanny for a 4-month-old and his 9-year-old sister (she is now 13 and he is 4 years old). Most recently, I was the full time caregiver for a sweet little girl who just turned 3. I started caring for her when she was 3 and a half moths old until she entered daycare. I have been doing this for most of my life and I can honestly say that I give my all to each child. I have been around for many firsts with these wonderful kids; first words, steps, teeth, first crushes, entering puberty, learning how to put on make-up, and so many more. No matter who the child may be, regardless of gender, race, religion, or what have you, I give the love, care, and respect that every child deserves.
This is a review from my most recent family:
"Nikki was a wonderful part of our family between February 2012 and September 2013, during which time she provided care for our 4m daughter. Nikki's love for those she takes care for is tangible and was evidenced every day in her attitude and attention to her duties. She is professional, positive, hard working, and is a person of integrity who does her best. She has often gone the extra mile, bringing little toys and making picture collages for our little one on her own volition. To say that Nikki is an excellent choice as a nanny is an understatement, and while we later transitioned our daughter to daycare to increase her exposure to other kids, if we needed another nanny Nikki would be our choice without reservation."
I'm willing to discuss specific times and prices for my services, I'm open to negotiations.
As for myself, I'm currently employed as a front office associate and receptionist at Summit Pediatrics under a Dr. where I have been for the past two years but I'm looking to going back to being a nanny once again. I'm an online student at Oregon State University studying Korean language. I am also certified in first aid, CPR, and trained to use an AED.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. I genuinely wish you luck in finding the perfect nanny (even if that person isn't me). ... read more
