Always happy boy! Only special needs he will need is for you to work with him on learning everything as he does have low muscle tone and takes longer to build skills. Things such as eating with silver wear we are working on and teaching him/making sure he isn't putting too much in his mouth as he will fill up his mouth too full. He loves learning and stays positive always. Also we are working on sign language he does know some. He is not deaf. Keeping him on a good food plan is important to us such as fresh fruits cooking simple meals not macaroni or chicken nuggets etc. Treats are always a must Popsicle and chips are his favorite snack. He's a very easy kid to care for because he's always happy and will stay focused on whatever activity he's engaged in. Ask questions please! Thank you. Our ideal caregiver: Experienced is a must! Will not be every Friday, start time could vary if needed until about 10 p.m. Saturday's would be 9 a.m. to around 4 p.m. and sometimes with advanced noticed until 830 p.m. Sunday's 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and sometimes with advanced noticed until 8:30 p.m. Mom and dad both work every weekend and have important jobs! Our family needs in home care for a bright, imaginative, ENERGETIC 6-year-old boy. His current school schedule is Tuesdays and Thursdays, hence the need for help on M-W-F. I suspect he may end up distance learning all together so an ideal candidate would be able to accommodate and Monday thru Friday schedule as well. Daily needs include: daily outdoor activity, probable transportation daily to and from activities we have scheduled for him or to parks or picnics. Snack and meal prep needed.
