The most important thing when leaving your child(ren) in the care of someone else is you want to be certain that they have been loved, cared for, respected, and honored well in your absence. Each morning your child will be able to join us for circle time where we will discuss the days date, weather, upcoming activities, any other "share", ending with reading a book or two! Then we will move onto Arts & Crafts where we will spend a lot of time getting creative with different materials, textures, and all of their new ideas! We will have sensory play, fine and gross motor skill activities, as well as endless access to dress up, an assortment of building blocks, books, play people; animals and cars. Following our morning routine you can find us eating lunch!! After lunch we will all wander outside to the backyard, the playground right next door, or on a nature walk! Fresh air seems to make little bodies hungry and thirsty all over again, so then we will head back to the house for more food and hydration! Once everyone is sufficiently full and happy, you will see that we will just be repeating the above process in numerous variations all over again until Mom or Dad comes for pick up! This is a loosely scheduled day and of course, we will take your child's individual needs into account, i.e. nap time, if they need breakfast or dinner, medication times etc. Enjoy our open door policy, but don't be alarmed if you catch us mid-dance party, science experiment, fort build, or baking extravaganza!
