About the business
Welcome to the Family Day Home "The Kingdom of Children LLC."
My name is Maria and I am a state licensed childcare provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I can tell you that I'm not only the director and provider of my Family Day home, but also I have a lot of professional experience in early child education that is backed up by a bachelor's degree and more than 19 years of working, first as a director in my own school and then as a director of a Daycare of Essalud in Peru. I am also a Public Notary in the county of Alexandria. I sustain a diplomacy in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning difficulties and behavioral modification and a Master degree in Pedagogy in Montessori Children's Specialty plus University degree.
I love my profession, and that is the only way for a person to think of dedicating their life to taking care of children and planning on doing an excellent job. Everyday I try to give my best and all of my knowledge at my job, and I am always updating my knowledge so that I can achieve with your children a great emotional, intellectual and psychomotor development.
The curriculum authorized by Department of Education of Virginia allows us to develop every skill they must have depending on their age, including the learning of Spanish as a second language.
Something more about me is that I am a member of NAAEYC and I have a free food program for your children that consists of healthy food that follows the USDA Child Care Food Program.
In this Family Day Home we cultivate integrity and good morals so that they can grow up as tolerant, punctual, responsible and sympathetic people.
