Very Active Senior - Not A Granny But Will Treat Your Children As Though!
I have 5 years of direct experience as a nanny to 2 darling children who live on my street - one is going to kindergarten and one to pre-K in the fall. Managed their care through the Covid pandemic with two parents working at home (they still work from home actually). I can help with Light Housekeeping and Cooking/Meal Preparation. Our only son lives in Chicago which is how we found our way here in 2014. I am a very active senior, walking at least 6, 000 steps a day, keeping my yard & home spotless, and am fairly crafty so can assist small children with that. I love playing with Littles, read to them all the time, love taking them to the library to pick out their own books, and am good at making nutritious meals. I work a bit using diversion tactics - an unhappy Little is often interested in seeing a different perspective. I am sensitive and find that small children relate well to me. I am rarely ill and in the 5+ years have not needed a sick day.
