Melody's Pond is happy to introduce our K-5th Elementary POD Class. Our small Elementary age students are led by a CA credential teacher who will work with students as they participate in Distance Learning with their enrolled school.

Melody's Pond is currently accepting all ESSENTIAL WORKERS and none for enrollment. Melody's Pond Preschool and Childcare is a year-long program focused on encouraging and supporting the academic and social growth of the whole child. Our personalized blended-philosophy brings knowledge from Montessori, Traditional, and Play-Based fundamentals. We believe that no one Philosophy is a prefect fit for every child. Melody's Pond program is based on the respect for the uniqueness, talents, abilities and dignity of each individual student. This approach in education and childcare allows children the freedom to experience their own creativity, explore their world around them, and develop their inner strengths and resources in different setting throughout their day at preschool. Little DreamChasers Academy is family daycare/ preschool that provides a fun, safe, play-based environment with structure. We offer enrichment classes weekly (Music and Movement & Sports for Preschoolers). We are proud to announce beginning fall 2019 we will add S.T.E.M and a computer lab to the current program. Kindergarten readiness, a stimulating learning environment with a focus in hands on learning experiences for children ages 6 months to 5 years old has been the ongoing goal. Daily we serve organic fresh meals (breakfast, A.M. snack, lunch, P.M. snack and dinner occasionally).

I am licensed care giver as well as CPR and First Aid certified.
I care for infants 1 year and older, toddlers, and school-age children in a developmentally appropriate environment which helps them develop social, emotional, and physical skills. I received a diploma in Early Childhood Education for preschool teacher and have 10 years of experience working with children in a licensed facility. Material and toys are disinfected before and after use to maintain a healthy environment for everyone.

Elena's Day care is a small bilingual (Spanish and English) licensed family based childcare serving the Richmond area.
Currently I have space for kids from five months old to five years old.
My hours of operation are 7:00 am to 6:00pm.
I provide daily activities that teaches color, shapes, letter and basics. I believe that circle time where we read stories, play with flash cards, sing and dance is essential to children's development as well the importance of indoor play ( I have lots of age appropriate toys for all ages).
At Elena's daycare children will learn independence, sharing, manner, socialization, motor skills and other development skills.
I am CPR/First Aid Certified with finger print clearance, I also have experience working as a teacher and I am certified with child development classes.
